SMG Volunteers at Elijah’s Promise Soup Kitchen
Staff Management has proudly served the Middlesex County community for years, connecting job seekers through our offices in Carteret, Edison, New Brunswick, and Perth Amboy.
This morning, five of our dedicated team members volunteered with Elijah’s Promise, a soup kitchen in New Brunswick, to give back to the community.
In just four hours, they prepared over 200 sandwiches, served nearly 200 hot lunches, and left the kitchen spotless.
After growing up in a third-world country myself and witnessing widespread poverty, it is truly fulfilling to give back to those in need and experience a humble state of mind.
The team at Elijah’s Promise is committed to using the power of food to break the cycle of poverty, combat hunger, and transform lives. From their soup kitchen on Neilson St. to their mobile meal program serving various locations weekly, they provide essential meals to the community.
Elijah’s Promise envisions a world where no one goes hungry due to lack of food or resources, where meals are both nutritious and accessible, and where natural and financial resources are managed wisely to create opportunities for those in need.
Preparing and serving hot meals to New Brunswick’s underserved community demonstrates the profound impact of their work in addressing food insecurity by truly listening to the needs of the community and creating solutions that matter. We extend heartfelt thanks to our incredible SMG team for contributing to this positive change.
