Staff Management’s Memorable Corporate FunRun 5K Experience
At Staff Management, our dedication to teamwork and community inspires us to engage in events that challenge us and strengthen our connections. Last night, we had the honor of participating in the Corporate FunRun 5K, an unforgettable experience!
Yesterday, September 11th, our team gathered at Oak Ridge Park, ready to embrace the challenge of a 5K run. The event was more than just a run. Lively music set the perfect backdrop, and the tasty pizza with cookies and cold beer and water at the end kept everyone excited and energetic. We even won a trophy for having the largest team!
It's always nice to see when we can all get together has a team and accomplish one goal. In this case, the goal was for all of us to complete the course and get to the finish line. For me personally, the goal was to finish in under 40 minutes and I was super proud of myself to finish the race at 30:49. There's nothing better, then competing against yourself.
It was inspiring to see our colleagues support and encourage each other. We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who took part. Their enthusiasm and team spirit were key to making the evening a tremendous success.
I really enjoyed the park we ran in, the trees were supporting us with their shade, which helped to not get too heated while running. It's always enjoyable to have the team get together to have fun & spend a wonderful afternoon together. My goal was to finish the FunRun race in less time than I did at our last 5K race. In the end, I finished in less time with an 11-minute difference. I'm so proud of myself for accomplishing this goal & very proud of our team for taking a trophy home for the biggest group in the event!
This 5K highlighted the strength of our team and the incredible things we can accomplish when we unite. We’re eager to carry this momentum forward as we continue to build a brighter future for our company and community.
