SMG Volunteers at Spring Street CDC: Table of Hope
Staff Management has been serving the Morris County communities by offering jobs from our office in Dover for years.
Last week, September 28th, five of our Staff Management Group employees volunteered their afternoon with the Spring Street CDC: Table of Hope in Morristown, NJ and serve the community.
In just three hours, the team sorted groceries and assembled over 100 tote bags full of different food items, such as canned foods, cereal, fruits and vegetables, rice, frozen sausage, and more! Each bag was worth about $75.
"We could not do it without our volunteers. No matter where we go, we always have people in the community who come out to assist us. It’s a huge blessing, just the support of the community to help others.”
The Spring Street Community aims to enhance the quality of life for Morris County families by addressing economic, educational, and social needs while also preserving the area’s cultural diversity. Their goals encompass improving community development, sustaining and preserving nature and culture, and promoting economic empowerment.
Spring Street CDC: Table of Hope facilitates food distributions in multiple locations, in which they always welcome volunteers to serve, in Morristown, Dover, and Parsippany.
Distributing tote bags and seeing the smiles on people’s faces reminded us of the power of community. We provided relief and connection, reinforcing the importance of giving back. Thank you to our dedicated team for seeking to make a difference.
“I can say it was a great experience to be part of such a great cause.”
We want to thank this gracious and welcoming organization for partnering with us for the first time. We look forward to furthering our relationship in the future.
